What happens when you see a homeopath
The Consultations
The first consultation lasts around one and a half hours and is used to find out as many details about you and your health as possible.
While some questions will seem to have little bearing on the problem you may have come with, all the information gained helps to build a complete picture of you as an individual, which is necessary in order to select the most effective remedy.
The Remedies
The homeopathic remedies themselves are made mainly from plant and mineral substances. They are very potent and yet are prepared in such a dilute form that they can be safely taken by anyone, being non-toxic and non-addictive.
Homeopathic remedies can be taken during pregnancy and are ideal for babies and children.
In addition to homeopathic remedies, Dawn is fully qualified in the use of flower essences as well as in the techniques of Naturopathy, Kinesiology and Neuro Linguistic Programming. If used as part of your health programme, they are included in the cost of treatment.
The practice covers the North Derbyshire area and also Lancaster. The consultations take place in a room at one of the clinics most convenient to you. Please contact Dawn to book an appointment in either Buxton or Lancaster.
Insurance Cover
As a Registered Member of the Society of Homeopaths, Dawn has full insurance indemnity, with all treatments and visits to the clinic fully covered.
What remedy will I get at the session?
At the end of the session you will leave with a homeopathic remedy in the form of small, soluble pills and instructions on how to take them.

How much will I pay?
There is a fixed fee for each consultation which covers all all prescriptions and contact between appointments.

For instance, babies up to 2 yrs are covered under the fee for the primary carer.
